Have you ever felt that you just don’t fit in, and you wished that someone would just tell your story? Well, that was the journey our MS/HS student cast and our audience took when entering into the Land of Fairy Tale Misfits. The land was beautiful and completely decorated by Ms. Kym Davis ( Art Teacher) and the entire Elementary- Flowers, ladybugs, mushrooms, and butterflies…Oh My! Ms. Ellie Rosewood ( Annie Gaines, 11th) took a dangerous journey with a groundhog (Kiersten Coleman, 7th) , a giant dwarf named Mac (Nicky Cox, 8th), and Jacqueline the  giant slayer (Taylor Baker, 9th) to find the enchanted pen and write the untold stories of the Fairy Tale Misfits.  Their quest was almost foiled by the villainous Queen White Out (Rylee Gragg, 11th) and her evil minion erasers Big Mistake ( Hannah Morrison, 9th) and Pink Pearl ( Savannah Hall, 8th). Their travels also lead them to meet some fun misfit characters such as Fairy Godfather (Morgan Baker, 12th),  Prince Appalling (Caden Truncale. 8th), Indecisive Goldilocks (Alayna Cox, 11th), Vegetarian Witch (Hannah Rogers, 7th), the Sophisticated Troll (Holli Kolbialka, 11th) and many more.  Good thing, Jacqueline had her magic accordion to play polka music which ultimately defeated the evil queen.  What a fun and hilarious play! The students did an amazing job, and laughter was heard often throughout the play. The costumes done by our Chancellor, Mrs. Colleen Gaines, and Mrs. Joan Hall were extremely complimentary to the entire production. We are grateful to our Heavenly Father for the success of this production.
