Honor Society inductions are always a big deal at SMCA. Our students work very hard to become part of these societies. This year we wanted the students to feel honored as well as stay within the Covid regulations for gatherings, so our induction was held over Zoom.  Our Honor Societies will continue to serve our school and our community even in the face of social restrictions. Our National Elementary Honor Society in particular will begin with a Veteran’s Day project writing letters to veterans in support and encouragement. They have plans later in the year to help local charity organizations as they have in the past. They are determined to continue to be God’s hands and feet in the community and school even when they may be separated by technology or a distance of 6 feet. In this time, we feel it is even more important for our members step into leadership roles in serving the community and one another.
