Reading with Marty and Friends

SMCA’s new Reading with Marty and Friends program provides a safe community service opportunity for high school students to record their reading of favorite children’s books for the school database library.  Preschool and Elementary teachers can then show the videos in the classroom, letting young Mustangs know that older students are still wanting to share with them as part of the SMCA family. In years past, younger Mustangs have always enjoyed having the older Mustangs in the classroom to read them a story. This program has let them have that opportunity again in the midst of Covid-19 regulations.
