Congratulations Class of 2021
Congratulations to the Class of 2021!
SMCA seniors celebrated with an outdoor graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 5. On-campus and online students gathered together for the first time this year to walk across the stage while their families watched the memorable event. It was a warm day full of smiles. This class included 11 “Senior Babies” (graduates who attended SMCA for at least 12 years), the largest number ever in one class. Valedictorian Jakhari Gordon spoke about how the class’s “paths have been so intricately connected” in the past, but they are now beginning to “chase new dreams.” Teachers Mr. Cofer and Mrs. Gilroy prayed over individual graduates to keep following the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
