Let Thanks & Giving Be More than Just a Season
Our students in preschool and elementary are so thankful for many things. They are thankful for God, friends, family, and their teachers. The students took the time out of their instructional day to celebrate God’s many blessings and enjoyed fellowshipping with each other during our annual Thanksgiving class feasts.
In addition to celebrating Thanksgiving, our students conducted a food drive and donated a large amount of non-perishable items to Life Styles Inc. to feed those less fortunate and in need of a hot meal. Hats, gloves, and socks were also collected to donate to South Potomac Church for distribution to those in need of those warm items. Our students learned the importance of giving back to the community, as well as putting the needs of others before their own.
We hope you enjoy learning how to cook a turkey from our Kindergartners!
